This is a beginner swim class, perfect for the adult swimmer who is unable to swim front or back crawl and would like to become more comfortable in the water.
The goal is to overcome any fear of the water and to teach the basic swimming techniques. Increase your comfort in the water by learning basic floatation, movement, and breathing skills. Participants will work on water adjustment, flutter kicking (on both stomach and back), breathing coordination and arm movement. This class will also provide basic knowledge of how to stay safe in the water.
Individuals who have little or no experiences swimming in the water are welcome. It's never too late to learn!
