Our modern dance classes teach a mixture of hip hop, jazz and choreography.
These styles of non-partner dancing emphasize body movement and rhythm, and are very popular with kids! Basic steps are taught, with routines practiced to popular chart hits and performed in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Classes consist of four parts:
- Warm up - Strengthening and technique
- Routine - Development of dance vocabulary
- Choreography - Creative development of the routine
- Cool down - Stretching out of muscle & mind

We teach ages 5-14, with the Pace and Level of Technique varying according to the age group.
