Summer Camps 2008
Venues: Seasons Villas, BISS Pudong, Rancho Santa Fe
This summer our camps include a mixture of sports, arts and games classes. Sports classes run by our professional coaches include soccer, swimming, tennis, dance and basketball, as well as games taken from our Fit for Sport program. Our arts and crafts classes are a chance for the children to explore their creative side, using a variety of materials to experiment with and create things for the home! Drama and games includes a wide range of fun activities that will provide children opportunities to find new ways of expressing themselves and to learn how to work with others in groups.
The exact schedule will vary from week to week according to the venue, ages of children and weather, although each morning includes swimming, one sport and one arts and craft session. The last day of each week will also be a fun theme day. A sample schedule and the theme days for each week are below:

Week 1 Theme Day - Circus & Clowns - Jun 23rd-Jun 27th
Children will celebrate fun at the circus, so get ready for face painting, clown activities, and circus tricks!
Week 2 - Pirates - Jun 30th-Jul 4th
Arr! Tis Pirate Day at camp, and we shall be swashin¡¯ yar buckles. Your child can look forward to a fun filled day where they are sure to live all their pirate dreams, searching for buried treasure. They will follow their groups¡¯ very own pirate map, but they¡¯ll have to be careful, you never know what things await on this piratey quest.
Week 3 - Beach Party - Jul 7th-Jul 11th
Aloha! It¡¯s Hawaii time at camp. We will have fun in the sun as we play some tropical games, and get to try some tropical food!
Week 4 ¨C Jungle - Jul 14th-Jul 18th
A chance for your child to unleash the tiger inside of them with Jungle fun this week. We will create and then embark upon a Safari with games from the jungle and faces to match.
Week 5 - Outer Space - Jul 21st-Jul 25th
3.....2.....1.....BLAST OFF!! We will be crafting rockets and soaring into space, living in the shoes of an astronaut for the day. Each child will have the chance to create their very own planet whilst attempting to defeat the aliens on their mission around the solar system.
Week 6 - Crystal Maze -Jul 28th-Aug 1st
This week our campers will be challenged to navigate their team around fun-packed physical, mental and creative tasks; collecting crystals as they successfully complete challenges. The race is on!
Week 7 - Wet, Wild & Wacky - Aug 4th-Aug 8th
Hot Summer Days deserve some Splishin' and Splashin'! Come Splish and Splash in our swimming pool and enjoy an array of fun water games such as water balloon toss, water bucket brigade, rubber ducky races, and much more!
Week 8 ¨C Olympics - Aug 11th-Aug 15th
Zhong Guo Jia You! This week we are celebrating the 2008 Beijing Olympics, with Olympic learning and games all week long.
Week 9 ¨C Knights and Princesses - Aug 18th-Aug 22nd
Prepare for battle as we create our own swords and shields with high energy activites including three musketeers race, cross the moat and balloon jousting!
Week 10 - Around the World -Aug 25th-Aug 29th
Children will jump aboard our imaginary plane as we learn about different cultures and the world around us. The week¡¯s activities will include native foods, costumes, customs, and a multicultural celebration!
